LOCKO-Bank in the TOP-100 rating of the most efficient banks

19 окт. 2016 г.

LOCKO-Bank entered the TOP-100 rating of the most efficient banks on 01.10.2016, compiled by the National Banking Journal (NJB), taking the 66-th place. LOCKO-Bank has been holding leading positions in the ratings of the effectiveness and reliability composed by NJB for more than five years.

Wide range of data was taken into account and was analyzed in the process of rating compilation: public statements of credit organizations, published on the Central Bank’s website, as well as CBR’s data on average parameters of effectiveness indicators for the banking sector. The 300 largest banks in terms of assets (according to RAEX rating on 1 August 2016) entered the sample for the rating compilation. The exceptions were banks, which are under resolution, and banks which do not publish statements on the CBR’s website.

The final ranking of efficient banks included only 100 banks with the highest score according to the methodology of the study.

The following indicators characterizing the bank's effectiveness were used in compiling the ranking (taken during the period from 1 July 2015 to 1 July 2016):
• return on assets (with using profit after tax according to RAS), excluding income from donated property received;
• return on equity (with using profit after tax, according to RAS), excluding income from donated property received;
• net interest margin;
• operating activities costs to average assets;
• the ratio of net interest and commission income and expenses on the maintenance;
• cost of funding.
